And yeah heard about the jet planes from China
the most striking thing I guess, looking at my friend, a navy
chap, who got himself a mail order bride ..... is the reaction of
our circle of friends ....
he's my age ... and many of our friends are already married too
... some of the wives treat her like a pariah, a leper, when we
meet to eat together ... they flatly refuse to talk to her, or even
acknowledge her at all ... talking over her head, as if she wasn't
there ... the boys, are not much better ....
frankly ... though I know it's a bad idea ... it's disgusting
how some of us are when we look at ourselves from the outside
.....
all the more I think, that it'll be a sort of mutual salvation,
when I think whimsically of getting a MOB ...
I think the problem is xenophobia in Singapore
Hmmm come to think of it I dunno anyone who got themselves a MOB
but for my family I have cousins who married Indonesians and
Fillipinas etc and there was no problems whatsoever but they are
not MOBs.
Also, I think some people think that selling yourself for a
better life is no better than selling your body for money,
therefore the disgusting behaviour.
